Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled SEO Account Director to join our client's talented Organic team in London. This role is crucial in devising and executing the SEO strategy for key clients and will manage a team of SEO specialists to work alongside them in doing so.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Devise and execute innovative SEO strategies for leading international clients across e-commerce, Retail, Travel and B2B.
  • Acting as the central point of contact for your client, with stakeholder management at a senior level.
  • Technical audits, site architecture, crawlability and performance, providing ongoing insights and recommendations.
  • Collaboration with cross-channel teams both internally and externally.
  • Leading a team of talented SEO specialists, offering continuous mentoring and coaching to aid with professional development
  • Commercial responsibility for your client account portfolio, overseeing budgets and increasing profitability
  • Acting as a subject matter expert for all things Organic, staying up to date with current with trends, technologies and updates, and offering insights to your clients and the team.

About You:

  • Proven experience as an SEO Account Director or a similar senior SEO role.
  • A strong understanding of SEO strategy, with proven experience of improving organic performance for your clients.
  • Strong technical SEO expertise, in addition to knowledge of analytics, data and insights.
  • Experience of working in collaboration with broader digital channels, specifically Digital PR, Social and Paid Media.
  • Excellent client management skills, with the ability to present and pitch at a senior level and able to communicate technical topics to a non-technical audience.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics & Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Majestic and Screaming Frog.
  • Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
  • A high level of commercial acumen.
