As they continue to expand, they are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Lettings Director to drive business growth.
Role Overview:
As the Lettings Director, you will play a key role in overseeing the lettings and property management department, ensuring the smooth operation of all aspects of property letting, management, and client relationships. You will be responsible for setting and executing the strategic vision for the lettings division, achieving sales targets, and enhancing operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the lettings department, providing guidance, motivation, and professional development opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the lettings portfolio and increase revenue.
- Oversee property viewings, tenant applications, and negotiations to ensure a smooth process for both landlords and tenants.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including tenancy laws and health & safety regulations.
- Monitor and report on market trends, competitor activity, and industry changes to keep the agency competitive.
- Manage the lettings department's budget, ensuring financial targets are met and resources are used efficiently.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in a senior lettings or property management role, ideally as a Lettings Manager, Lettings Director, Head of Property Management, or similar position.
- Extensive knowledge of the property lettings market, with a strong understanding of current industry regulations and best practices.
- Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a team to success.
- Strong business acumen with a track record of achieving targets and driving business growth.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- A full, clean UK driving license and access to your own vehicle.
- ARLA or similar property-related qualification is desirable.
